About The Role
KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, AI Engineer to join our dynamic Advisory Services practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about artificial intelligence and machine learning to contribute to transformative projects for a variety of clients. As an AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge GenAI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications, integrating AI solutions into enterprise systems, and supporting the deployment of innovative workflows. You will work closely with senior team members to design, test, and implement AI models, conversational agents, and automation components that drive operational efficiencies and enhance client experiences. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of staying current with emerging AI tools and frameworks, applying them effectively to real-world scenarios, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional or academic experience in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, or cloud technologies. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s degree is considered a plus. Experience with major cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI, AWS AI/Bedrock, or Google Cloud Vertex AI is essential. Proficiency in Python or other programming languages commonly used in AI/ML development is required. Familiarity with conversational AI frameworks, including LLMs, chatbots, virtual assistants, and APIs, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team-based, client-focused environment. The role may require travel, and applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future, as KPMG does not sponsor visas for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop GenAI and Large Language Model applications and integrations utilizing foundational models under the guidance of senior team members.
- Create and test AI models, conversational agents, and workflow automation components to enhance client solutions.
- Assist in data preparation, transformation, and validation processes to support the training and deployment of AI/ML models.
- Configure and embed AI solutions into enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, and collaboration tools using cloud platforms.
- Document technical processes, code, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure project continuity.
- Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize AI solutions, and ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools, frameworks, and industry trends, experimenting and applying new techniques to client projects.
