AI Engineer (Microsoft Copilot)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with Microsoft Copilot expertise to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building custom copilots, integrating enterprise data sources, developing AI agents, and implementing Generative AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Copilot solutions using Copilot Studio.
• Build custom AI agents and conversational experiences leveraging Azure OpenAI Service.
• Integrate Copilot with Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Power Platform.
• Develop and optimize prompts, workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Implement enterprise-grade AI solutions with strong focus on security, compliance, and governance.
• Integrate external systems and APIs using Power Automate, Logic Apps, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Monitor AI model performance and continuously improve response quality and user experience.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software development or AI engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Strong experience with Azure OpenAI Service, GPT models, and Generative AI solutions.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents).
• Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, Graph API, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure services.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG architecture, Vector Databases, and AI Agent frameworks.
• Experience integrating enterprise data sources such as SharePoint, SQL Server, Dataverse, and Azure Storage.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as: AI-102: Azure AI Engineer Associate, PL-200 / PL-400, Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with: Semantic Kernel, LangChain, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Graph API, Agentic AI Solutions, Copilot Extensions and Plugins.
