Job Title: AI Engineer
Job Description
The AI Engineer designs and implements AI-driven solutions that optimize workflows and drive efficiency across engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise operations. This role focuses on building AI agents, integrating business and production systems, and identifying high-impact use cases that improve throughput, reporting, and process consistency. The AI Engineer partners closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions that support standardization across facilities and enhance system connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and related AI tools to support engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact AI use cases that improve throughput, reporting accuracy, and process consistency across business functions.
- Integrate AI solutions with business and production systems using APIs, web services, and data platforms to ensure seamless data flow and system connectivity.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and other business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable AI and automation solutions.
- Implement AI-driven workflows that support standardization across facilities and enhance cross-system connectivity in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or finance environments.
- Work with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or similar ERP systems to design and integrate AI solutions that improve enterprise operations and reporting.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and connections to data platforms to support AI models, analytics, and reporting solutions.
- Build and support AI and LLM-based applications within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Copilot and Power Platform.
- Create dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools to visualize AI outputs and operational performance.
- Contribute to defining AI standards, governance practices, and roadmaps to ensure responsible and consistent AI adoption across the organization.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions to align AI solutions with enterprise priorities and operational needs.
- Continuously experiment with modern AI technologies, evaluate new capabilities, and recommend improvements that drive measurable business impact.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including development and deployment of AI agents.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Copilot and Power Platform.
- Experience building AI and large language model (LLM)-based applications.
- Experience with API and REST integrations for system and data connectivity.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience with data platforms or data pipelines to support AI and analytics solutions.
- Experience with Power BI or comparable reporting and visualization tools.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering design, construction, or finance environments.
- Understanding of finance concepts such as GAAP in relevant use cases.
- Experience with artificial intelligence solutions in enterprise settings.
- Experience with governance and security considerations for AI and data solutions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion AI capabilities.
- Familiarity with Power Applications within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Experience defining AI standards, governance frameworks, and roadmaps.
- Experience integrating AI solutions across multiple facilities or global operations.
- Exposure to system integration using APIs, web services, and enterprise data platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and business functions.
- Interest in building and shaping AI strategy from the ground up in a high-visibility role aligned with executive priorities.
- Motivation to experiment, innovate, and drive measurable business impact through AI.
Work Environment
The role operates primarily in an office-based environment with strong collaboration across global teams in the U.S., Brazil, Europe, and Asia. On-site work is preferred in the St. Louis, MO area, while remote or hybrid arrangements are available for strong candidates. The position involves regular interaction with engineering, manufacturing, construction, and finance stakeholders, with occasional exposure to operational and manufacturing environments. Travel of up to approximately 15% may be required to support collaboration, implementation, and coordination across facilities and regions. The work environment emphasizes access to modern AI technologies, including Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Oracle Fusion AI, and offers autonomy to experiment, innovate, and contribute to a long-term AI capability and strategy.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $96.00/hr.
