My client is creating the evidence layer that allows AI systems to navigate complex questions with traceable, defensible answers. I am looking for a Founding Agentic Reasoning Engineer to build the reasoning engine at the heart of the platform.
What you'll do
You'll design AI systems that:
- Break complex scientific questions into solvable steps
- Route intelligently between tools, evidence sources, and reasoning workflows
- Surface contradictions and uncertainty instead of hiding them
- Generate answers backed by clear provenance
- Build evaluation frameworks that measure real-world reasoning performance—not demo quality
Who we're looking for
You may come from:
- Applied AI
- Research Engineering
- ML Engineering
- Agentic Systems
- RAG / Knowledge Graphs
- Multi-step Reasoning & Evaluation
You've likely built systems that combine retrieval, reasoning, structured outputs, evaluation loops, and tool use, not just prompts.
