As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for an Agentic AI Engineer in Dialog Systems team.

Your responsibilities would consist of:

Developing functional solutions by designing and implementing Generative AI technologies;
Analyzing requirements and designing technical and functional solutions, combining process knowledge with a solid understanding of the used technologies;
Collaborating with cross‑location teams (Sofia, Quickborn, Rostock) by developing and communicating solution concepts;;
Defining functional test scenarios and establishing quality assurance measures
Investigating incidents and issues and designing solutions in close collaboration with other involved teams;
Acting as the cloud and agentic development expert within your Scrum team and driving best practices in these areas.

The skills and experience we would like you to have:

Experience in developing production-grade conversational agents (chat and voice bots) using modern GenAI technologies;
Very good knowledge of prompt engineering and implementation of business use cases as LLM-based (multi-)agents;
Experience with Google Conversational Agents, especially Playbook Agents and/or CX Agent Studio; experience with Azure and Microsoft agent setups is a plus;
Ability to implement deterministic, customer-ready agent architectures (e.g. guardrails, model configurations, fallbacks);
Experience in developing and integrating agent tools (e.g. via MCP), as well as webhooks / callbacks based on Python;
Experience with agent handover and inter-agent communication (e.g. A2A mechanisms);
Ability to independently debug, test, and validate agents;
Experience in monitoring and optimizing the costs of LLM-based solutions;
Structured approach to modularization and management of prompts and agent skills.
